The Heart & Soul Drama Club
The Heart & Soul Drama Club is a community outreach program of the Church of the Resurrection teaching musical theatre to the children and youth of East York. With rehearsals taking place every Sunday afternoon (excluding holiday weekends) beginning in September, we produce annual full-scale musicals performed in a professional theatre in Toronto in late February. We are an inclusive theatre community that welcomes new students of all ability levels without an audition. As a registered charity, we maintain a needs-based bursary fund, supported by tax-deductible donations, to ensure that financial barriers never stand in the way of participation.
